Roll out of your tent and straight onto the flying field, swap stories around the fire, and share it all with people who simply get it. Your Questions, Answered
Is DIF26 free to attend?+
Yes. Entry to DIF26 is completely free — you just register your place so we can save you a spot. Both days are free: register for Friday, Saturday, or both. Only on-site camping pitches are paid (£10 a night).
Can I bring and fly my own drone?+
Yes. DIF26 has an open, marshalled flying field running all weekend. Bring your own aircraft — from sub-250g drones to full FPV rigs — and fly via our Pegboard slot system. You'll need valid insurance (to EC 785/2004) and your drone registration to collect a flying wristband.
Who is DIF26 for?+
Everyone in and around drones. DIF26 is the relaxed, managed event where the drone industry meets the people who fly: real businesses demonstrate their products, pilots meet pilots, and businesses meet pilots — building genuine working relationships. Commercial operators, hobbyists, FPV flyers and curious newcomers are all welcome.
How is DIF26 different from a drone trade show?+
Trade shows tend to be ticketed, formal and open only to verified professionals. DIF26 is the opposite — free, open-air, open to the public and professionals alike, and hands-on: you can actually fly. It's networking and live demos in a friendly, informal setting rather than a closed conference.
Where is DIF26 and when is it?+
DIF26 takes place at Worting House, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG23 8PY on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th July 2026 — a beautiful open-air setting in the heart of Hampshire, easy to reach from across the South East and the rest of the UK.
Is there camping at DIF26?+
Yes. On-site camping pitches are available so you can make a weekend of it — roll out of your tent and straight onto the flying field. Pitches are limited and bookable through our store.
Is there food and drink on site?+
Yes — there's food and drink available at the event across both days, so you can stay on site from gates open to close.
Is there a drone light show at DIF26?+
Yes — there's a drone light show after dark, lighting up the night sky. It's a real highlight and a great reason to camp over and stay for the evening. That said, DIF26 is first and foremost a fly-in and industry meet-up where you fly your own drone and businesses demonstrate real products — so it's about taking part, not just watching.
